 Samuel P. Weaver CEO/President
|
Samuel P. Weaver—President, also serves on the Board of Directors of Cool Energy, and is responsible for the engineering management of the low temperature Stirling Engine and daily business operations. Sam has led product development teams and engineering projects throughout his career, and has worked as a researcher and designer in the field of optics and optoelectronics. In addition to renewable energy, he has experience in a range of markets including telecommunications, data storage, and aerospace. Sam previously co-founded Colorado Photonics, a profitable small business providing telecom equipment distribution, and has led multiple engineering development efforts at startup companies during his career. Sam holds six U.S. patents and has authored numerous technical publications. Sam holds a B.S. in engineering and applied science from the California Institute of Technology, and is a member of the Board of Directors of the State of Colorado Clean Energy Development Authority.

 Amir Massihzadeh Director of Business Development
|
Amir Massihzadeh, P.E. — is a registered Professional Engineer and has worked in the engineering design, construction, and architectural metals business for 25 years. Amir has a Bachelors degree in Civil Engineering from the University of Colorado, Boulder and a Certificate of Management from the University of Denver. In Boston, Massachusetts, Amir co-foundedRHEINZINK America, Inc. a subsidiary of RHEINZINK GmbH in Germany, the second largest titanium zinc mill in the world. He was responsible for managing all facets of the company including operations, finance, strategy, engineering, sales & marketing, procurement, supplier management, quality assurance, and customer relations. He formed strategic alliances with industry leaders including Firestone Metal Products, Alcoa, OCM, and Gibraltar Industries for architectural metal applications. Prior to joining RHIENZINK, Amir worked in Colorado as a structural engineer, project manager, and corporate development manager for Merrick & Company Engineers & Architects a fortune 200 company. In 1997 he consulted to the Meneren Corporation for Aden Free Trade Zone, a $3B commercial/industrial development project in Aden, Yemen.
Amir is a member of the Boulder Rotary Club and is the co-chair of Preserve Planet Earth Committee. He serves on the Board of Directors of Puma Steel, Inc., and Peruvian Hearts, a nonprofit organization dedicated to assisting health and educational programs for disadvantaged children in Peru. Amir and his wife, Susan, reside in Boulder, Colorado.

 Dr. Suchindran "Chat" Chatterjee Director of Overseas Relations
|
Chat Chatterjee—Futurist, aerospace engineer, international business executive, computer and technology scientist, university professor and philanthropist. Chat is an adjunct full professor at Arizona State University and serves on its Dean's Council. He currently serves on the Customer Advisory Board of Delta Airlines. Chat was Executive Vice President and Chief Information Officer at major corporations such as Nationwide Insurance, Mutual of Omaha Insurance, and The Bank of Montreal/Harris Bank. He was also Senior Engineer at Digital Equipment Corporation and Chief Engineer of Aerospace and Flight Testing at Arnold Air Force Base, Tennessee, and the Chief Maintenance and Construction Engineer at King's Bay Naval Trident Submarine Base, Georgia. Since 1973 he has been an adjunct full professor at Tennessee State University, The University of Tennessee Space Institute, The University of Cincinnati, The Ohio State University, Creighton University, and The University of Nebraska. He also served on the Alumni Board of Vanderbilt University and currently serves on his alma mater’s Admissions Council. He has served on the board of Taligent Corporation, the now defunct advanced technology company started by IBM and Apple in 1992, later joined by HP, to create the next generation 32-bit and 64-bit GUI operating systems.

 Brian Nuel Director of Engineering
|
Brian P. Nuel—Director of Engineering, has worked as a product developer for the Company since July 2006. Prior to joining Cool Energy, Brian led and participated in product development projects in internal combustion engines, high speed automation, medical devices, telecommunications, and aerospace. He has been responsible for all aspects of product development including product design, process development, and manufacturing engineering, and has successfully taken products from concept to production. Brian graduated with Honors from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign with a B.S. and M.S in Mechanical Engineering.

 Dave Georgis Director of Operations
|
David G Georgis – Director of Operations, is responsible for production, quality, supply chain management and manufacturing engineering. Dave has worked in companies ranging in size from Fortune 500 to small high tech startups, serving customers in the automotive, aerospace, medical device, telecommunications, data storage and manufacturing sectors. He is a specialist in new product introduction with a focus on six sigma deployment. He has helped several companies obtain their ISO 9001 certification, lead many quality improvement programs, participated in Voice of the Customer marketing efforts, and designed business systems for optimal effectiveness. He has experience in managing contract manufacturers in the US and Asia. Dave has a BS in Mechanical Engineering from the Georgia Institute of Technology and a MSME from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute.
